Depression...
I dunnoe whats wrong with me recently, but sometimes i just feel very down and just dun feel like talking, and its been happening quite alot the past few days... So guys... if i had ignored any of you recently or dun seem to be replying any of you, hope you guys dun mind :) probably i really didnt feel like talking or i really just didnt hear you...
Oh, btw, our I&E mentor seems to be very pleased with our "timebomb" (not literally of coz), can really see that he is quite happy with us since he said we are the first group in his 3 years of taking I&E to actually make out a prototype. haha.... and to think we were worried that he will slap us with all sorts of questions. Now we just have to do the fundraising for that prototype and we'll be done for I&E... hope it goes well...
Speaking of which, today me, kelvin and kaiyu went to become mail-mans (what do u call those people who deliver mail anyways...) LSCT mails were already delivered in the afternoon... so we went to our IS block to deliver some of the "letters" we had and we saw Mr Siregar, our mentor for the I&E project we are on, and he saw what we had and he said it was good. Nice! hope we have alot of responses coz we seriously need them lol...
I must say the staffs of all the 3 offices (LSCT, IS and BA) are all very helpful towards what we are doing. The IS staffs are very ethusiastic about helping us and even helped us seal up our box! Something that i totally forgot to ask the group to do for our LSCT one... hope it will be alright. And alot of thanks to the BA staffs also, who lent us a project box and their help in delivering some of the mails to the tables of some lecturers.
Everything was well until when we decide to leave the BA office, we saw a lecturer who will not be named, opening the letter as he walked to the lift. We followed and saw him open the letter, read abit and then tore the letter up. Seriously i hope that is an exception and not the rule of the thumb. Besides if he really didnt wanna help, he didnt have to tear it up right, just throw it into the dustbin or something, those waste collectors wont thank you for making their "rubbish" smaller you know, because their machines can do it at least a thousand times better than u. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he didnt know that it was us that posted those mails and he didnt meant to tear the papers right in front of us, but what he did affected us with kelvin saying that it was so demoralizing and kaiyu was very pissed off about it. I told them not to worry, it was just one of the nearly 300 appeal letters we sent out, but what can i do? I was also damn pissed off with that lecturer ok.
Anyway a few more hours will be the first World Cup Semi Finals, Germany vs Italy, i think Germany should win, but it would probably be a very boring match given the way how Italy have played in this World Cup. 0-0 in 90 mins or 1-0 to Germany is my prediction, and no, i nv bet on it, so no need ask me whether i got win anot if its really the right result.
Btw, World Cup is a very Kelong event. Alot of people dun believe in such thing as Match Fixing, but how do they explain that Almost ALL the heavy boats of every match in every World Cup fail to clear their handicap. The most famous match, 2002 France vs Senegal remember? The boat on France was so heavy that Senegal can go and win 1-0. Just this world cup already got alot of examples also... dun tell me the ball is round... Lets see some examples...
Trinidad & Tobago vs Sweden? How did Trinidad even get a draw from that game with 10 man?
Italy vs US? So many ppl was banking on Italy to win big... Italy lucky to escape with a draw.
Sweden vs England? How to explain the late goal by Sweden? Nice work by some of the England players to purposely siam away from the impending goal bound ball from Sweden to let Sweden equalise to happily send both of them to the second round.
Spain vs France? How did a team who won their matches so convincingly in the group stages lose so convincingly to a team that is struggling? Spain has been well known to be "underachievers" ya rite.
Brazil vs France? How did a world champion go out against a team that is still struggling in my view? Why did Brazil start with only Ronaldo up front? Where is Adriano? Where is Robinho? France beat Brazil to remove the possibility of having a Germany vs Brazil World Cup Final repeat just 4 years down the road. If this happens what will happen to the reputation of the World Cup? Become as boring as the EPL with a One Horse Race?
But there is one thing that i am very thankful for. That is, England got knocked out and never kelong all the way to the World Cup Finals. If they made it into the finals, they would probably turn it into the MOST Boring Finals Ever. They have NOT cleared a single handicap in this entire World Cup, and its good they didnt get thru to the Semi Finals by the penalty backdoor. Even though i did lose money on this stupid team.
Sometimes its just difficult to answer the questions posed to me...
