Some Recollections (Part 1)

After getting alittle lost for a year or two, something which i dun like to delve much into, i finally manage to get into NP. Didnt do much during the so-called induction day but didnt go for the Orientation Camp also, due to a clash in schedule.

So, went to sch on the first day of the sem, took a cab down becoz i was gonna be late if i dun, but end up i reached early. Not only that, the lesson started late, which made me think to myself why i took the cab in the first place. And also not knowing anyone there, did made me feel alittle out of place.

The first person i got to know in NP is Kim Soon (who later i found out is in 1F06) and we became friends, although we arent very close. Then came Lye Huat (Huatose as he is called), the friendly "billabong" guy who went all around the LT getting to know everyone, haha, like election like that =p (i didnt noe he was in my class until later in the day haha)

Our 2 teachers, ms teh and mrs tang (tgi, as she is better known haha, no disrespected intended here) are pretty fun but are rather different in my opinion.

Ms teh teaches us Organic chem, much of which i have learned b4 (the organic part, not the biochem part), but in greater detail which in some cases are new to me too. She can be the fun type, but she can flare easily (haha, no disrespect intended), rasing her voice when doing so. Students like to "copy-write" what she says and alot of times, she had to repeat what she says word for word just so we could copy, haha. (Its the same case with mrs tang, but i feel, but to a lesser degree)

Mrs tang teaches us Cell Bio, sumthing that i have no background on even after studying for 23 years or less of my life (makes me wonder what i was studying all along, lol). She is also fun and her lectures are full of stories. If not for her way of teaching this subject, making her lectures fun, i think i would have hated bio simply becoz of the number of new terms (for me) there are in it. She usually doesnt get angry with us easily, but she showed us her wrath when she locked us out of the tutorial room when alot of us were late for one of her tutorials. (Sorry!)

Haha, back to the main topic, when i went to the cell bio pract that day, i was pretty surprised to see that Huatose is in my class. We chatted alittle and i also got to know of Stamford (also known as parrot) i think, then we went into the lab (sorry la, my memory isnt very good, its kinda blurry now...). I then got to know of Jia Jun (JJ as we like to call) who was sitting beside me. We talked abit and he's funny la haha. He and Stamford are always cracking jokes together at that time haha! I also got to know of Kelvin (who is later known as Kapo, meaning toad) and i thought he is the Guai Guai kind =X (haha, just kidding), and i found out he's a Ang Mo Kang Tang =p but then he's not really that bad at chinese la lol.

Then for reasons that nobody knows (me, JJ and Ford all dunnoe y), we 3 become good friends and we joke and crap our way through the remaining of the semester la lol. Slack through our projects and presentations that we do together and somehow managing to complete them in time, haha doing projects is fun with them la haha. I still remember our cell bio creative presentation for our lab, omg their acting skill is so good la!, especially the cis-trans part lol, just like dajie puts it, "so classic la" haha.

Then not long after the semester starts, we have our first birthday girl, Soo Cheng. We ordered pizza to eat that day and tgi also joined us for awhile. Her present was a soft toy which was bought by someone who's name shall not be mentioned on my blog, but i think generally, the guys feel the next time we better buy it ourselves.

Not long after, JJ and Lynn became an inseparable item (oops, i mean couple haha). And Lynn became the "saggy" (lol, joking only ah) grandma of the class when the family tree was formed. She is the kan jiong type la, so JJ u shld infuse some of ur calmness to her la. haha. And also, the same someone who's name again shall not be mentioned on my blog, should really keep his mouth shut when he is not asked for an opinion on something.

Then, came the time to join a CCA (or ECA as i like to call it, haha). At firzt, wanted to try out something new in archery, later found out that its a high upkeep CCA (lol) and have to go all the way to the east for the first few sessions. So i decided to go for badminton with dajie and soo cheng and another guy, who i dun really hate yet but no liking either, just a got-see-then-maybe-talk fren. Soo Cheng didnt go for the subsequent sessions, so its left with me and dajie, and him. I joined badminton for a couple of reasons, one of which is becoz i like playing it, but becoz i m not used to playing with ppl i dun really noe, i seldom play during the sessions too. And the other reason i would rather not disclose at this period of time. =]

Then, came the time when the guys decided to let their unhappiness be known to the someone who's name, for the third time i am saying this, is not gonna make it to my blog. He promised to change, and i do not know whether our patience ran out first or his efforts ran out first. I dun think its our patience though.

Then, using his creative brain juices, he decided to form a group called SRS (whatever that means, if u wan to find out, u can go to my friends' blogs under my links, u can probably find out wat it means rather quickly). And henceforth, we are known as the non-SRS of 1F07.
